The P.S. 63, Old South School Community embraces scholar’s unique talents to develop confidence as they apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills through collaborative project based learning by fostering creativity in preparation for lifelong learning to become leaders and thinkers on their individualized pathways to success.

Vision 

The P.S. 63, Old South community provides a safe, welcoming and affirming environment where we embrace the diversity of each scholar’s strengths to develop critical thinkers aligning with data in the science of reading, writing and conceptual understanding of mathematics to cultivate and support the thinking and social emotional well-being of our students on all grade levels.
